Getting Started Guide

Step 1: Install Ledger Live

Download the Ledger Live application from the official Ledger website. Ensure you download the correct version for your operating system, whether it’s Windows, Mac, or Linux. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

Step 2: Set Up Your Device

Connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer using the provided USB cable. Initialize your device by setting a PIN code and writing down your recovery phrase securely. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone.

Step 3: Add Your Accounts

Open Ledger Live and navigate to the “Accounts” tab. Add cryptocurrency accounts supported by your Ledger device. Each account allows you to manage your funds securely and view transaction history.

Step 4: Send and Receive Crypto

Use Ledger Live to send or receive cryptocurrency. Select the appropriate account, enter the recipient address, and confirm the transaction on your Ledger device. Always double-check addresses to prevent errors.

Step 5: Manage Your Portfolio

Track your crypto holdings in Ledger Live’s portfolio dashboard. View real-time prices, portfolio value, and transaction history. You can also install apps on your Ledger device for supported cryptocurrencies.

Step 6: Keep Your Device Secure

Regularly update your Ledger device firmware and Ledger Live app. Never share your PIN or recovery phrase. Consider enabling additional security features, like passphrase protection, to enhance your crypto security.
